After many hours spent pondering, debating, deliberating, archive-trawling, creating, copywriting, programming and testing we were delighted last Friday to – finally! – unveil the most serious overhaul to the core JWDC website in quite some time (like so many creatives, we’re guilty of concentrating on doing great client work than blowing our own trumpet!).

The latest incarnation of jwdc.co.uk features a vast array of newly-featured work across all core areas of the business – plus a brand new edition of our downloadable PortfolioJWDC2012_Portfolio. No need to say any more here; go check it out for yourselves – and a big thanks to everyone involved in the design & creation of this latest rendering of our online presence, especially Martin – top man, CodeGeeza!

New Dolphin Visual Identity

Having created the initial Visual Identity for Dolphin Television almost eight years ago (see example below), last week JWDC unveiled an update to the Dolphin marque (above) which now features a glamorous new three-dimensional Chromium Light rendering of the core symbol which replaces the distinctive but more sedate 2D look that has been in existence since 2002.

An important part of Dolphin’s repositioning was to lose the logotype which previously sat beneath the dolphin symbol, supremely confident was the client that their brand had permeated every level of the media world they inhabit that customers would instantly recognise the company behind the shimmering new 3-dimensional shape. For those rare occasions when a liquid-metal incarnation of the new Visual Identity may not be strong enough for maximum recognition (eg Hospitality Events, Conferences, TV Idents, etc) a range of coloured-metallic versions of the symbol was developed:-

Plans are to unveil the new marque across the client’s Website, Auction Site, Stationery Suite, Merchandise and Signage with JWDC playing an important role as Brand Guardians to ensure accurate & faithful reproduction of this carefully crafted and very dynamic visual identity.

JWDC is very close to unveiling the new website we’ve created to promote the Aspire Health & Wellbeing centre, located in the heart of Spalding.

Aspire owner, Helen Mumby-Croft, commissioned JWDC after an extended search as to who might be best placed to deliver the right response as she sought to promote all Aspire has to offer in terms of health & beauty treatments, spa days, therapy treatments, cosmetic enhancement, dentistry, physiotherapy, podiatry, herbal & holictic medicine.

Scheduled to launch by end of October 2010 the new Aspire website will feature state of the art design & programming to reflect the high quality of services on offer – check back here soon to see the full results in due course, but as a tease to what’s coming, below is a screenshot from the Design Development stages!…

 

 

Forget all that talk of a four-day Bank Holiday filled with nothing but rest & relaxation!

Today saw the launch of the latest JWDC online project, namely the new website for television presenter, Rachel Pierman whose next major commission following on from her successes in the past presenting live shows for five (Brainteaser and Memory Bank) is the new series of ITV1’s quiz show: Divided.

The launch of www.rachelpierman.com has been timed to coincide seamlessly with the launch of the new series of Divided this coming Tuesday 06 April at 5.00pm, and we’re all absolutely thrilled with the look and performance of the new website and all it offers. It should prove to be  a real resource for Rachel as the days, weeks and months unfold.

As well as her current Feature Showreel (available to view on nearly every page), the new site features Mini-Showreel clips, Voice Promos, Voicereels and Gallery pics as well as information on the Business Presenting Courses Rachel also been involved in setting up & running recently.

2010 looks set to be another positive year for JWDC and we’d just like to say a huge “thank you” to all the bright young things behind the scenes who have helped towards the release of this latest project.

Nothing like the release of a new website design to send us into egg-stacy over Easter!…
