Archives for the month of: June, 2011

Though much smaller than the comprehensive website we designed for parent company, Aspire Health & Wellbeing, it was still important that Spalding Physiotherapy had a Holding Presence which appealed to as wide an audience as possible, in a way which was far more eye-catching & engaging than the simple electronic business card that preceeded what JWDC created…

We’re confident that this simple but dynamic online presence will prove as successful for the client as the full website we designed for Aspire and that very soon she will be asking us to design & develop a fuller version – once she’s finished dealing with the enquiries of all those making for her door!

From little acorns, as they say…

2011 has already been a very positive year for leading Lincolnshire-based property developer, Seagate Homes, with a clutch of new developments having been granted planning permission or already having had building work started.

Seagate‘s fabulously inviting website, designed and launched by JWDC in February 2011, will be refreshed within the coming 48 hours to reflect the latest round of positive activity which sees new-build homes in Hanthorpe, Heacham and Spalding well under way and plans to begin building at Baston and Maxey also just over the horizon.

The slideshow (below) highlights treatment of the Feature Carousel within the Developments section to show visitors exactly what each property looks like and where it’s located. You can view more visuals of this project by clicking on the following link: Seagate Homes: Case Study

Summer is fast-approaching and clients are looking to expand their offers as thoughts of most consumers drift towards spending on holidays, relaxation and enjoyment rather than the mundane.

Spalding-based health & wellbeing centre, Aspire, approached us to see how we might help them attract interest in their beauty & spa offer throughout the summer months. A limited-time discount offer was the solution; one which would appeal to their predominantly female clientele who will already be dreaming of looking their best for the upcoming summer ball season, beach holiday, wedding or special celebration. With budgets being monitored closely our solution was to combine a printed leaflet/voucher and highlight awareness of the offer on the Aspire website. Now all we have to do is sit back and wait for the client to tell us what a raging success the whole thing has been – while we get our heads down and plan how best we can help Aspire capitalise on the Autumn and Winter seasons!…

Leading London agency The Engine Group turned to JWDC to work alongside them in the creation of the 2011 Digital Maturity Index, a report aimed at raising awareness of the importance of measuring and reacting to digital media streams in today’s markets.

Originally conceived by JWDC as an 8-page folding document, the final format followed the more conventional A4 brochure layout. Strong use of Engine‘s own themed abstract photography dominated the cover concepts and specially illustrated icons and diagrams added punch to the internal pages where key data ran throughout…

In June 2011, JWDC designed & produced a Portfolio for leading garden designer Clare Agnew.

The Portfolio includes highlights from past projects Clare has worked on – including her Silver Gilt award-winning design ‘The Reflective Garden’ at the 2008 RHS Chelsea Flower Show – and is intended as a concise marketing tool, as she seeks to make others aware of her very personalised style of garden design.
